Christmas is just around the corner, the romantic backdrop of the old half-timbered houses in the market of Adenau sets the mood for the contemplative Christmas season. From December 1st to December 22nd, 2024, the Adenauer Christmas market will open its doors. In collaboration with the Trade Association, the city of Adenau, and the Hotel Blaue Ecke, a special program is offered that will make the hearts of young and old beat faster. Visitors can look forward to a small, fine Christmas market featuring Christmas decorations, culinary delights, mulled wine, and punch. For the children, a train will be set up, and every Saturday there will be free children's cinema at 4:30 PM, in the Rittersaal of the Blauen Ecke. Hot drinks will be served in reusable cups. Guests are also welcome to bring their own cup for hot beverages. After Christmas shopping in the city center, guests can enjoy social hours around the Christmas tree at the historic marketplace. Those arriving by car can also traditionally look forward to free parking in the city center on all Advent Saturdays.
